Ex-Vikings DL Darrion Scott arrested

Former Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Darrion Scott has been arrested after police searched his Eden Prairie residence. Police say Scott was booked into the Hennepin County jail Wednesday on suspicion of assault and malicious punishment of a child. The 26-year-old Scott is a free agent after spending the past four seasons with the Vikings.

Pachuca beats Saprissa to win Champions Cup

Mexico’s Pachuca won the CONCACAF Champions Cup for the second straight year, beating Costa Rica’s Saprissa 2-1 on Wednesday night to secure a spot in the Club World Cup in Japan.
